R NOBLE ROSE APF

SILVER Classified and inspected (AHR), 78 points, in 2005

(b. 2/2/00) Nobleman of Tudor Oaks x Radiant Rose NTF (Afghan III NTF). Winner of the 2001 Tudor Oaks Farm Breeders' Award of Excellence (Division II) and numerous halter classes, our foundation mare, "Rosie" is an exceptional mare with beauty, size ( 14.3+ H), refinement, clean bone, and a flowing snow white mane and tail.

Rosie is by Nobleman of Tudor Oaks, an Austrian import who was sold to a breeder in Holland after the 2000 World Show. Nobleman won 3rd place in his class at the 1995 World Show in Ebbs, Austria, and was 1996 HRNA National Grand Champion Stallion and Best of Show. His noble character and presence shine through in Rosie. Rosie's gorgeous head and soft, kind eye draw attention wherever she goes. Rosie is out of one of the strongest mare lines in the Haflinger breed that goes back to Rosie NTF. At her inspection, she tied for the 3rd highest score in the U.S. of all horses inspected that year. This places her in the top 10% of Haflingers inspected world-wide. Rosie's foals have her size, refinement, clean bone, beauty and sweet disposition.

In her first year of showing dressage in fall 2006, after only 30 days dressage training, Rosie took home the blue ribbon in intro. level suitability, second place in intro level test B, and was reserve high point champion at intro level (missing champion by 1%) at the Battle Creek Equestrian Center Schooling Show in early September. A few weeks later at the American Haflinger Registry National Show she won first place at BOTH introductory level Test A and B!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ROSIE'S TRAINER, SHELBY BLADES, FOR ALL OF HER HARD WORK, SUPPORT, AND DEDICATION!

Rosie had her third filly in a row sired by Arno van het Nieshof on June 3, 2008. Rosina (Zeena) is the spitting image of her big sister, Teake! This foal is offered for sale at a reduced price until weaning. (Please call for price.)

Rosie will be given the year off after she foals in 2008. We are looking forward to breeding her to our young stallion, Vader (an Arno van het Nieshof son), in 2009!
